Our refuge.

Access to recovery can be the refuge that makes all the difference!

Our campus.

Our campus is nestled in the foothills of North Carolina. We offer separate housing and programs for men, women and children to tailor to their unique needs. Learn more about our refuge below!

How and where we serve.

Thanks to the generous investment of our partners in Out Of The Ashes, we are having an incredible impact at our new campus. While our campus serves both men, women and children in need of services and a place to stay, our housing units are separated so men, women and children can receive the care they need. Our campus is a gated community, but we’re always open to those in need who are ready for a change!

Our men’s mission is tailored to the needs of our participants who are in need of recovery, emergency shelter and counseling. One of the unique features of Out of the Ashes is that all of our men’s staff are in long-term recovery and committed to helping the next person in need, so our participants see that the freedom of recovery is within reach. Reach out for more information on our men’s services.

Women and children have separate living quarters from the men’s campus, with a completely separate staff who have been in their shoes. Establishing a refuge for women and children who are in need of emergency housing, recovery and care for their family is not a responsibility we take lightly. We become their family! Reach out for more information on our women’s services.

Our recovery meetings, worship, teaching and campus-wide programs take place in our sanctuary. Out of the Ashes’ founding verses are from Isaiah 61. ‘To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.’  That is the hope of our programs and space. Please pray that the spirit would fill our campus and empower us to care deeply for our residents.

Out of the Ashes serve men, women and children by providing housing, transportation, food, recovery meetings, bible studies, inpatient services, one on one meetings, clothes, hygiene, most importantly we love the individual where they are and we do not judge them. We help them get an ID, employment, we assist them with meeting their goals and to be self-sufficient. We help them to be productive members of society and we assist in reuniting families. We also offer transitional housing. Unfortunately, due to the high number of individuals seeking our services, we are unable to bring individuals from outside our coverage area. We are able to serve Rutherford and Polk Counties.
