We are a refuge in the foothills.

Out of the Ashes is the only place in Western North Carolina for the underserved and uninsured to receive drug and alcohol addiction treatment and emergency shelter at no cost.

Serving in Rutherford and Polk counties.

Our campus is nestled in the foothills of North Carolina and positioned to serve 500+ individuals seeking hope, recovery and safety. Out of the Ashes is the only recovery facility in the foothills with an open door to the opportunity for recovery and the hope of the gospel. That is the definition of a refuge!
