FOUR BAPTISMS
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Today, we had the honor of baptizing four precious souls who gave their lives to Jesus Christ and all of heaven rejoiced!
Let’s be clear:
We don’t get to decide who deserves salvation.
We are not the judge. That seat belongs to God and God alone!
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
And that’s what we’re doing making disciples, not casting judgment.
I’ve seen people ridicule others after they give their life to Jesus, questioning if it’s “real.” But the Word says:
“We are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is like filthy rags.” Isaiah 64:6
None of us saved ourselves. None of us are worthy without Him. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone that anyone is saved.
The religious spirit can criticize, but the blood still works.
The cross is enough. Jesus is enough.
“Judge not, lest you be judged.” Matthew 7:1
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…” Isaiah 5:20
Let’s ask ourselves, Are we building people up or tearing them down?
Because the same religious crowd that mocked Jesus also mocked the ones He was saving.
But the thief on the cross still heard, “Today you will be with Me in paradise.”
Here at Out of the Ashes, we believe what Jesus said. We trust in the finished work of the cross, and we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit not the opinions of man.
Let them know they are loved, chosen, and not alone.
Because at the end of the day we’re all just filthy rags without Him. But in Him… we’re made new.
To God be all the glory!
